Hello!

I’m Masayo, Tokyo Guided Tour planner.

I introduce where to explore with family members in Tokyo.

Today’s target is…

Kiyosumi Garden!

What’s Kiyosumi Garden?

Kiyosumi Garden is a circuit style garden in Tokyo.

It is said the garden was founded between 1716 and 1736.
But afterward it was devastated.

In 1878 Yataro Iwasaki who is the builder of the Mitsubisi combine bought it.
The new garden was made here even after he passed away.
Now Tokyo possesses the garden, and everyone can enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Why I recommend to visit with kids?

I recommend you to visit here with your kids!
Why?
This garden is the best size to stroll with children.
Not too big, but enough big to enjoy the beautiful landscape.
It is a perfect place to take a rest from noise of Tokyo.

What’s more, in the pond you can see various kind of animals such as ducks, turtles, herons, frogs and carps.
If you are on the stone pathways on the pond, some animals might try to reach you.
