Enoden is a local train in Kamakura area.
It connects Kamakura station to Fujisawa station.
It has only 15 stations with 10 km.
This small train is loved by not only locals but also travelers.

1. Kamakura Station
Kamakura station is the terminal of Enoden.
It’s a big city, and you can enjoy shopping, tourist spots.
Kamakura Komachidori is a shopping street.
Shops of Japanese sweets or snacks, food, accesories, and clothes are line up
in a row.

Tsurugaokahachimangu is a shrine which was built in the Kamakura period.
The Kamakura period is from the 12th to the 14th century when the Kamakura shogunate ruled Japan.
2. Hase station
Great Buddha of Kamakura is the second largest Buddhist statue in Japan.
The height is 11m excluding the base or 13m including the base.
The weight is about 120 tons.
Hasedera temple is famous for beautiful flowers.
The most famous flowers are hydrangeas.
3. Shichirigahama station
Sangosyo is a restaurant in Shichirigahama area.
Speaking of Japanese food, many people remind of sushi or tempura.
But many Japanese people love curry rice.

4. Kamakurakokomae station.
Kamakurakoko means Kamakura high school.
It literary means a station in front of Kamakura high school.
This station is so popular because the scene here is used in a famous anime.
5. Enoshima station
Enoshima station is located near Enoshima Island.
Enoshima island has shrines, a shopping street, an observatory, a flower garden, carves etc.
What’s more, you can see Mt. Fuji on a clear day.
